Lots of great improvements with V16 Update 8 for 3CX
V16 Update 8 for 3CX is live!
3CX was already a great system, but these improvements have made it even more user friendly and productivity increasing.
• Conference scheduling has been improved and is now even easier.
The email/calendar options make it clearer which to select, and scheduling a conference takes just a few seconds.
Whether you’re scheduling a group chat; want to conference with a single person right away; wish to schedule an audio chat via Android or iOS, or elevate a current call to a conference call; or you want to send out a custom URL to customers, partners, or colleagues, 3CX has you covered!

• Two additional SMS providers have been added to the list of available SMS providers to choose from.
The two new SMS providers are Bandwidth for US customers, and HostProfis for Germany and Austria. Flowroute, Twilio, and Telnyx are also still available.
• Your team’s ability to connect with customers via Facebook just became a little easier as well.
With Update 8, integration with Facebook can be completed in just 3 simple steps.
Once connected to your page, your agents can answer messages in the web client, just like they do for live chat.
• It’s easy to update!
The v16 Update 8 is available in “Updates” in the Management Console’s Dashboard.
Just select “v16 Update 8” and click on “Download Selected” in order to install the update on your PBX.
You can also get v16 Update 8 for Windows or Linux.
Just don’t forget that, prior to updating, you need to make sure you have built your CFD call flows with the latest version.
