The Microsoft Surface 3 is here

Microsoft has unveiled their newest addition to the Microsoft Surface family with the upcoming release of the Surface 3.

Available since May 21, 2020, this detachable PC has arrived packed with updated features.

Externally, the Surface 3 looks much the same as its previous version.

There are two model sizes available. The 13.5 inch model features a 3000 x 2000 resolution, while the 15 inch model has a resolution of 3240 x 2160.

Thankfully, this device also comes with a headphone jack.

Inside, the devices feature Core i5-1035G7 and Core i7-1065G7 CPUs.

The 13.5 inch Surface Book 3 features a Max-Q 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, while the 15 inch model features a Max-Q 6GB GTX 1660 Ti.

Commercial customers will also be able to choose the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 GPU.

Microsoft states that the new Surface devices have the best battery life of any device they’ve made up until now. The 13.5 inch model is rated at 15.5 hours and the 15 inch model at 17.5 hours.

The starting price for the Surface Book 3 is $1,599.
