Insider testers are getting their first taste of this long awaited Long-Term Servicing Channel release.

Microsoft’s Windows Server 2019 is the much anticipated follow-up to the highly adopted and critically successful Windows Server 2016.

There’s no need to wait for the release to check it out though, as Microsoft is letting those in its Windows Insider program explore the build and preview all of the wonderful features that this new OS has in store. You’ll need to hurry though, as Windows Server 2019 is scheduled to be generally available in the second half of 2018.

For this software, the Windows Server team focused heavily on the areas their customers were most concerned about – Hybrid, Security, Application Platform, and Hyper-converged infrastructure.

You can read more about some of those specifically themed upgrades directly from Microsoft’s Server Team at https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/windowsserver/2018/03/20/introducing-windows-server-2019-now-available-in-preview/
