Malwarebytes has launched a free safe browsing
extension for Chrome and Firefox
Malwarebytes has released a new browser extension aimed at
safeguarding consumers from scammers. Browser Guard is available for both
Chrome and Firefox.
The tool works by blocking pop-ups, browser hijacking and
browser locking (including the popular ‘tech support scams’. It also filters
out unverified and suspicious content, plus unwanted ads, and ad trackers.

Malwarebytes stated, “One of the primary goals of

The plug-in also removes clickbait and all
ads from any webpage, which allows for a cleaner, faster user-experience. It’s
also customizable so that you can set what will and won’t be allowed from each
of the web pages that you visit.
