Samsung’s highly rated Galaxy Tab S6 is a hit
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 just hit the market to rave reviews. Released September of 2019, this is Samsung’s latest high-end tablet, retailing for $649.
Featuring a 10.5 inch 2560×1600 OLED display, a 2.84GHz Snapdragon 855, and a 7040mAh battery, this tablet means business.
The base version has 6BG of RAM and 128GB of storage. The higher tier has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The tablet also features an 8MP front camera and a rear 13MP main camera with a 5MP wide-angle lens.
This tablet weighs just 420 grams and is 5.7mm thick.
For security, there is an in-screen optical fingerprint reader.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab S6 does not come with a headphone jack.
On the back of the tablet there is a groove for the included S-Pen to fit into magnetically. The S-Pen comes with a battery and some Bluetooth functionality, including allowing it to work as a remote shutter button for the camera. There is also a new “Air action” gesture system that lets you do things like change the camera mode or scroll through pictures with a flick of the pen.
There are also great add-ons such as a Book Cover Keyboard that is available separately. The cover features a keyboard and trackpad and launches Samsung’s desktop interface.
All in all, this tablet is coming out as a winner for Samsung.
